There are a variety of resources available to help introduce the setting from January 2011, the date recommended by the Australian Bishops for initial implementation.

The Vocal, Choir, Guitar and Keyboard Music book is designed for cantors, organists, pianists, guitarists and choirs. It includes melody, SATB choir arrangements, guitar chords and keyboard accompaniment.

The Full Score Music book is designed for use by choir conductors, band leaders and music directors. It contains a page by page score of all instruments and voices.

The Instrument Parts Pack includes a set of parts for each instrument - flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, violin, viola, cello and bass.

The Audio CD includes a recording of all the Mass parts with mixed voices and piano accompaniment.

The Digital Media Pack (CD-ROM) includes hi-res JPGs, GIFs, PDFs, PowerPoint slides, Keynote slides, and OpenSong worship software database items to assist in providing worship aids for the assembly via booklets, overhead and data projection.

The setting works well with a simple accompaniment, or with a large ensemble of instruments.

The Mass of Our Lady, Help of Christians is scored for cantor (or unison schola) and congregation, with simple organ accompaniment. The modal flavor and subtle use of ancient languages (both Greek and Latin) make this extremely appealing to traditional parishes. Musicians and congregations will appreciate the unison texture, the singable melodies and the effective, yet simple, organ accompaniment.

These movements are set:

• Kyrie, in Greek
• Gloria, with a Latin refrain (optionally sung)
• Sanctus, in English
• Mystery of Faith – A, in English
• Amen
• Agnus Dei, in English

In its most basic form, the Mass of Our Lady, Help of Christians can be sung with just cantor and congregation. The cantor part can also be sung by children's choir, by a schola of men or women, or by a unison mixed choir.

A further example of its flexibility is the well-written Gloria movement. The congregation is given a Latin refrain ("Gloria in excelsis Deo, et in terra pax hominibus bonæ voluntatis"), thus avoiding the less-than-elegant English opening: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will". The Gloria may be sung in responsorial format (as written), or can easily be sung by choir or congregation in a through-composed format by eliminating the recurrances of the refrain. One has the best of both worlds: the Gloria can be introduced easily to the congregation in its responsorial form. After having heard the cantor/choir singing the remainder for a while, the congregation can then be invited to sing the complete text.

The new Mass translation will be uniform throughout the English-speaking world. Hence settings sung in Australia, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom will all be identical.
