Firstly let me thank all of you who have already purchased books, cds, videos, and gifts through the Marketplace since we first established it in October 2009. The venture is now generating a steady flow of orders each week and your custom and buying habits have played a major part in guiding this updating of the site. It may be hard at this stage to get your head around this but through this marketplace you now have access to literally millions of books and through our affiliate arrangements with four major distributors you have choice in price and probably just as importantly the postage or shipping costs depending where you are located in the world.

Our principal aim is to be providing a convenient place for the sourcing of resources for spiritual development, and the selection of goods we display on the marketplace pages will tend to reflect that. However most of our distributors also carry more general products as well which might, for example, be handy when you are seeking a gift for someone. Through our pages then you can access the full range of products carried by our distributors. We hope that in time the Catholica might become a significant cyber "gathering place" for many people interested in exploring Catholic and Christian spirituality in very life-giving ways.
