This is an older reflection from John Chuchman. He sent it in back in January of this year. It's an invitation to jump into the furnace of God as Love!
Moving with Honesty to Realization.
I've been playing with light
thinking I was making Spiritual progress.
I’ve been exploiting mystical ideas
and experiences
for my own delight.
I did not realize
that the purpose of
all I have experienced and learned and written
was to make me a servant
of Divine Love
in action in the world.
I did not realize that
Grace has indeed opened
Divine Realms for me
in order that
I can be devoted and humble enough
to dedicate
all my thoughts, emotions, actions, and resources
to helping others
awaken to their own inner Divinity
and responsibility for Sacred Action.
I now feel the call
to jump into the furnace
of God as Love
that embraces all things,
to give the rest of my life
to spread and embody
the passion of
God as Love,
which lies within every human heart.
I know I must take up the challenge
and live in and spread
Divine Compassion,
God as Love.
Love, John Chuchman
