I thought Cardinal Pell (Main Forum)

did really well in the Q&A programme.
Where there are gaps in Christianity, such as the meaning of suffering, the Cardinal was very honest in admitting that we just do not know why.
In fact, I think it was upon the rock of Why that the Dawkins ship foundered.
Further, I appreciated that the Cardinal did not attempt to be some sort of Catholic salesman.
I was relieved that what was billed as a debate turned out to be a discussion, albeit with two fundamentally different points of view.
The only weakness I would find in the Cardinal is his inadequacy on climate change. He accepts that it exists, but he does not accept the manmade causes.
