Rewriting our great Creation stories... (Main Forum)

I mentioned yesterday that I have added episodes 2 and 3 of the television series "The Wonders of the Universe" to the Catholica Channel yesterday. Episode 2 in particular is interesting in a religious context as Professor Cox suggests near the beginning he is presenting an alternative "Creation Story" to the great "Creation Stories" that underpin most religions. In the past I have argued that our theologies do always have to conform to later knowledge we are discovering through the sciences. I am sure there are still many in the world who would either not understand that, or disagree with it.

The question I propose for contemplation today is a fairly simple one: Does anything in the science presented by Brian Cox in this episode of his series conflict with the great Creation stories of Christianity?
