No doubt I'll have more to say after I've read the book. This is one of my very favourite subjects and I'm fascinated to know where Denis Edwards of all people take it. I have long admired the theology and spirituality of the man.

I had to smile at your last paragraph though...

...and what do you think "they" are praying for?

It's a bit like the Axis soldiers and the Allied soldiers of the Second or First World Wars all praying to the same God for victory, or merely to be spared to return home to their loved ones!
