...so very much for your beautiful and very encouraging response to my reflections. I hope that you can continue to believe that Jesus really was (and is) as we have been told. The trouble is, it is the people who have betrayed him who seem to get all the attention, especially since they are often in prominent positions. But I have known quite a few people: priests, religious and lay people, who genuinely embody the Spirit of Jesus, and I'm sure there were always many such people in every generation. As I said, mostly these people are not the ones who get all the publicity!
