Thank you Brian and Milly for these two posts.

Much food for thought in both, but Milly yours moved me to tears and that is rare for me. She used to say 'I'll beat you til you cry', so I always held out until I could no longer. So I cut tears out of my repertoire as ultimate humiliation.

But yes 'bloom where you are planted' - I need to sit with that and reflect and then reply.

Right now I must go to pick him up from yoga class and after that an evening meeting at school. He is the light of my life, but as you know faces challenges in life, which are getting more difficult for him now he is at high school. It takes a lot of patience which I tend to be OK with, but sometimes fail.
