Thursday, 17 November 2011 Do you remember this man?  Dear Friends, In lieu of the text commentary today I'm bringing you two short video tributes to Pope John XXIII. Kay, a member of our forum community, drew my attention to the first of them in a response on the forum. I think this might be first time in my life I've gained an audio visual glimpse into why this man had such an electrifying effect on so many of us. The video is in Italian but has subtitles and only runs for 10 minutes. It might be appreciated as a nostalgia trip by some and for others, like myself, it gives some insight into why this man earned the accolade "Good Pope John". I'm holding over the second part of Fr Brian Gleeson's series on the Resurrection until tomorrow as I've been burning the midnight oil again on some technical work to improve Catholica.
