Good Friday, 02 Apr 2010 What is 'good' about this day? Dear Friends,  On this most solemn of the days in the Christian liturgical calendar and as dark clouds gather above the Church I feel lost for words and exhausted. Consequently I've not prepared a lead commentary today and instead invite you to reflect quietly on the words in the headline banner: "What is 'good' about this day? A day in which we might all put ourselves in the mind of Christ and reflect on our own behaviours to the innocent, the vulnerable, the poor ... and to truth!"
