Happy Christmas!
Dear Friends,
Greetings on this day of Jesus' birth where we encourage one another along the road of peace and joy but which, ironically, for many is the day in the year where family tensions are exacerbated and many carry memories of pain, separation and loneliness more than joy. Let us keep those people in our thoughts this day also.
Christmas in our household started several days ago with meetings and meals for various family members and friends and I'm personally looking forward to a complete break over the next week. Tom McMahon is the lucky one to bring us a final commentary for the year which is a whimsical look at how some of the traditions associated with Christmas came to be.
