Christmas & January Publishing Schedule...
Dear Friends,
I didn't publish a commentary today (Friday) — mainly because I did another allnighter last night with further developments in the marketplace. For the convenience (principally cost-savings on shipping and postage) of our growing readership in New Zealand we've introduced fishpond.co.nz as a supplier of products — and also fishpond.com.au for Australian residents. I'm also in the process of integrating amazon.com into the marketplace principally for the benefit of our now big readership in the Northern Hemisphere. Of course all of the suppliers are happy to ship products all over the world. It's just much cheaper for you as a buyer if something is not being shipped as a one-off from one side of the world to the other. See the banner below to see the new sections on the Spiritual Marketplace.
This email, late today, is simply to outline the publishing schedule I propose to follow from now until the end of January.
We will publish a commentary each day normally up until (and including) Christmas Day. I will be having a complete rest from publishing between Christmas and the New Year. During January we will publish a fresh commentary on New Years Day and then daily repeats of the most read commentaries on Catholica over the past three years. There will be only one email each week, on Saturdays, summarising the activities of the previous week. Our full, normal publishing schedule will resume on 1st February 2010. Our forums will remain open throughout the festive and holiday season 24 hours a day.
Thank you all so much for your continuing support. 2009 has been another very successful year for Catholica in terms of our readership growth even if the endeavour is still a long way from paying its way financially and being able to provide reimbursement for all those who contribute so much by way of time, and skill, in writing the commentaries that attract a significant readership. The growth in donations has been steady and enough to enable us to keep up a relatively constant presence in the wider world letting people know of our existence.
