Paul – the first theologian to be reported to Rome!
Dear Friends,
Dr Elmer introduces his commentary today with these words: "Last week we began an exploration of Romans and, in particular, Paul's comments about his final journey to Jerusalem. This week we turn to Romans again and ask why Paul's felt it necessary to write to Rome." He speculates as to whether Paul might be classed as the first of a long line of theologians to be "reported to Rome"?
