Who will pay for this financial crisis?

Dear Friends,

Sorry I'm running late again, folks. Too much to do and I've been waylaid doing an upgrade to my computer. Today's commentary is worth the wait though if, for nothing else, it is a lovely piece of Journalism from a master at the craft, Cliff Baxter. The Secretary-General of Pax Christi is in Sydney at the moment. Her name is Claudette Werleigh. Cliff spent time with her yesterday and sought out her perspectives on the current international financial crisis that is worrying the pants off many. One of the advantages of giving it all away is these things are less of a worry. Nobody can take away what you don't already have? Or can they? Claudette thinks it will be the poor of the world who will pay for this latest financial calamity. What do you think? <Link to Cliff's interview with Claudette>

Wishing you a great day wherever you happen to be ... in life and in our world.
