Another milestone today and a brilliant commentary…

This email marks the 700th daily email addition of Catholica. Actually it's a little bit more than that as there were about 15 very emails that went out before we setttled on this numbering system. Like early Christianity we were a bit confused back at the beginning LOL. Could I just say to you, if you haven't previously paid much attention to Tom Lee's Monday commentaries, don't miss this one today. It's not only appropriate because this year we are supposed to be studying St Paul and coming to a better understanding of what he was on about but I truly find what Tom writes today exciting. It gives insight into what was so radically different about the insights of St Paul and why the Jesus' story was taken up by the Gentile people who had little or no understanding of the Judaic context in which Jesus' message had originally been proclaimed. Even today I honestly do find an excitment in coming to a better understanding of Jesus, and of Paul for that matter, through this kind of analysis abd exegesis. <Read Tom's commentary>
