The revolution in Church attitudes towards divorced Catholics?

Dear Friends,

Headline banner

Today's lead commentary is an audio interview with Barry Sinclair that looks at an episode in Catholic social history that many of us have lived through without perhaps fully appreciating hwo great the revolution was that we did live through. The subject of the interview concerns Catholic attitudes towards divorced and remarried Catholics. Both at the official level, and at the level of the attitudes of ordinary lay people, there has been an almost 180 degree turn in the last three decades. Barry Sinclair as leader in a number of lay apostolates during recent decades in the Church offers an insightful birds-eye-view of what happened and why. <Click HERE to listen to the interview>

Best wishes for a great day wherever you happen to be ... in life or in our world!
