Wow, we're hardly in need of a lead commentary today give the wonderful discussions going on in the Catholica forum triggered by Dr Andrew Kania's commentary yesterday and also the excerpt we published in the forum from Paul Collins' new book. Hopefully though what I've written, which seeks to link into the ideas of Thomas Merton on the types of prayer there are might give us further valuable food for meditation — and just to leve simmering away on the back burners in our mind. <Read today's Wednesday Forum reflection>
