Provocative stuff from two women commentators today… Dear Friends, It's more arse than class that the two commentaries we have for you today dovetail so beautifully together. I only decided to "double up" because I'm having difficulty fitting in all the material that is being submitted these days albeit that most of it is written from the perspective of blokes albeit "sensitive new age guys" like me LOL. I thought running the two commentaries I had in written by women together might have more impact and encourage more perspectives from that half of the population. When I actually came to do the layouts last night I found today's two commentaries are powerfully complementary in another way. Kerry Gonzales is lamenting the lack of questioning these days in the Catholic Church. Ironically, Milly's reflection is a review of Michael B Kelly's new book "Seduced by Grace" which is all about one man who hasn't been afraid to question. Have a read of what they both have to say and share your own perspectives with us: In general terms have Catholics become too afraid to question? Is Michael B Kelly a good example of what happens to someone who asks too many impertient questions? <Read Kerry's commentary (at the conclusion it has a link to Milly's Review)> <Read Milly's Review first (and it ends with a link back to Kerry's commentary))> |
