Welcome to our new publishing year!

Dear Friends,

Today we start a new publishing year for Catholica Australia. Today's editorial contains a short YouTube video (which I can't bring you in the email bulletin) so I'll just provide s summary here of what I'm trying to do with this first editorial commentary. Recent events have changed the climate within which we operate and develop the Catholica initiative. In this commentary I explore some of those changes that impact on all of us and some of the ones that impact on us particularly in this community. I do think we have a bright future, God willing that what we've been doing so far continues to be blessed with the commentators, the readers and the other forms of support that have characterised our growth this far. I end the commentary optimistically by seeking to re-articulate some of the subtle changes we will be making in our editorial policy to respond to the challenges that are beyond our control and which will help us maintain our forward momentum as a community. <Read editorial commentary>
