Objections to the Theory of Intelligent Design

Dear Friends,

Please excuse our headline … it is necessarily brief to attract attention and sum up the argument of our lead commentary today by Peregrinus. It could also be misleading. The arguments Peregrinus puts forward are NOT an objection to the proposition that Creation has a Creator (who exhibits a bit of intelligent and creativity). When he uses the word "objections" he is referring to the objections put forward by those who argue the Theory of Intelligent Design is not science. These objections are arguments that theists and believers ought be familiar with for the occasions when they confront atheist friends at dinner parties who contend there is no God and science explains everything and they should be equally aware of them when confronted by fundamentalists in the Church carpark or on talk-back radio who are trying to force Biblical literalism to Creationism down their necks. <Click HERE to read Pere's commentary>
