The perennial problem of sound systems in churches…

There's a bit of entertainment erupted yesterday on one of the very conservative religious blogs in this country concerning the design of St Mary's Cathedral in Perth. You'll find an entertaining string in our forum which explains it all more. Well worth a visit for the laugh. There is though a more serious side to this also and I have just written a lengthy post in that string based on my experience working as an acoustic engineer in the 1970s when I first graduated from university. As some of your may know priests probably get more complaints each year about the sound systems in their churches than just about any other subject.
