Further criticisms of the Draft Pastoral Plan…

In today's lead commentary Fr Daniel Donovan takes a further critical look at the draft pastoral plan for the Archdiocese of Sydney. It's been a full-on night for Amanda and I with the Vinnies Winter Sleep-Out last night. Early this morning I posted on our website video footage and a few photographs of the happenings at Eastern Creek Raceway last night for the Sleep-Out for teachers, students and parents in the Parramatta Diocese. (This information has been posted on Catholica as much as a service for the participants in the event as much as for the interest it might be for readers of Catholica.) Amanda got a couple of hours sleep and I got one in before we were back at Telstra Stadium for the Winter Sleep-Out for Chief Executives of Companies. This year about 50 took up the offer and Vinnies have big plans to expand this in the years to come. This "corporate event" received a lot of publicity on early morning news bulletins and breakfast television. <See the videos and photos>
