What do we really know about Judas Iscariot? Dear friends, Daniel Gullotta's last essay seemed to attract a lot of interest from readers of Catholica if the web logs provide a good indication of which pages are read on our website. It attracted a very good response up in the ranks of the best responses of our regular commentators who've been doing this for a long time. Daniel's essay today will probably attract similar interest as its focus is on one of the most controversial and provocative characters in all of the Gospel stories aside from Jesus himself… <Click HERE to read Daniel's commentary> Would you like to write a commentary for Catholica? We are still suffering a dearth of good writers on Catholica giving us a perspective on all this stuff through female eyes. Would any of the female members of our community like to write a series for Sundays? I'm looking for someone to write either a series of connected reflections (say, for three or four weeks) or the spot is open for an indefinite period. As with all our other writers I leave the decisions up to you as to what subjects you choose to write about as we want this site to be basically driven by the issues of the day as seen through the eyes of the members who make up our community. My commitment is to try and present your views in as appealing a way as possible for the audience we are seeking to communicate to. At this stage we still cannot offer remuneration but this is a good opportunity for someone to brush up their writing skills and get good feedback from an intelligent and critical audience.
