A tribute to priest and poet, John O'Brien... Brian Coyne pays tribute to the late legendary Australian priest, Fr Patrick Joseph Hartigan, who is equally well-known under his pen name, John O'Brien. In 2008 the Parish of St Mel's in Narrandera, which was the birthplace of much of Fr Hartigan's famous poetry, celebrates its Centenary. Big celebrations are planned. [more]
