The Resurrection – fact, fiction, or future
event? Dear friends, It is with a sense of personal joy this Easter that I came to realise Catholica Australia has now been in existence for more than nine months — the period of gestation for a child. We still have a long way to go before I will have a sense that we are truly beginning to even start to fulfil our ultimate objectives. At the same time I am just filled with a sense of thankfulness that somehow the resources have appeared to get us this far. The last few months have been difficult because of events unfolding in the personal and professional lives of Amanda and myself. They have now all been resolved in the last week so I am hopeful that post-Easter we will now be able to apply more energy in order to take Catholica to the next level. Our major priority at the moment continues to be in finding the substantial amount of capital funding we require to both adequately remunerate our lead commentators and to invest in the search engine technologies and promotion that will begin to give us access to that end audience we primarily seek to serve. In his lead commentary for Easter Saturday, Ian Elmer seeks to open our minds and hearts to the ultimate significance of the Resurrection away from the sorts of discussions that go on endeavouring to portray the resurrection if Jesus as some kind of resuscitation. [more] And for our weekly readers here's a summary of the lead commentaries from the past week... |
