have decided not to publish a fresh commentary today mainly because I
have been picking up a sense of "information overload" for a
couple of weeks not only through our discussion forum but through a number
of others that I belong to. This year, unlike any previous Christmas of
recent memory, I'm finding a distinct flagging of interest in discussion
on the internet for some reason. Paradoxically (or is it because of that?)
I find myself to have been having one of my best Christmases in a long
time with some good conversations in physical space — particularly
with my soon-to-be MIL. |
