Learning to trust our spiritual intuition and inner guide...
Friday, 1st September 2006

Dear friends,

It does constantly amaze me how as a human family we are still unable to deal with the serious miscreants in our international community. Last night on television we were reminded of the scale of horrow unleashed on September 11 all those years ago now with the moving documentary of The Falling Man. Earlier in the news there was a report on the desperate plight of the Zimbabwean slum dwellers who were bulldozed out of their homes a year ago. Many thousands of them for the year since have been living in even worse slum conditions than what was bulldozed. That is one of the stories in CathNews this morning also.

Does it not amaze you that Osama Bin Laden is still at large? For all the billions spent on the War on Terror one would have thought that the highest priority was finding Osama Bin Laden and yet none of our sophisticated technologies have been able to do so. Does it not stun you that no international pressure seems to have been brought on Zimbabwean President Mugabe to modify his behaviours? They are things that I constantly wonder about.

In the meantime here are some more pleasant things to fill your mind with this Friday and end of the working week...
