Why I'm recommending the President of Sony Corporation for a Papal Knighthood

As part of the intellectual explosion generated by the Catholica Australia website, we introduce you to another challenging son of Holy Mother Church. Fergal O’Dobbin is a daily communicant and frequent letter writer to the newspapers, his parish priest, the bishops and to Rome. He is concerned about the high degree of heresy coming from our pulpits.

I have just penned a letter to Sony to ask the name of the President of the Corporation in Japan so that I can recommend him for a Papal Knighthood.

His company has done so much to assist in the task of eradication of false prophets from the One, True, Holy, and Catholic, Apostolic Church.

At the time of writing I estimate that there are several thousand Sony tape recordings being considered by the Holy Office in Rome.

The service provided by the Sony Company should not go unrewarded.

The sound quality is excellent, and my transcribers have no problem in providing hard copy to accompany the recordings.

Sony stick-on-microphones have been a precious facility in monitoring the activities of pinkos who gather in presbyteries or crypts for peacenik, cut-and-run political activities - all under the loving eye of the counterfeit pastors.

These mikes have also been found useful in exposing the secret and abominable activities of those who reject normative sexual values. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Many a feral nun who has attempted to undermine the holiness of a male celibate priesthood has been unmasked due to the technical expertise of the Sony Company.

We are now investigating greater used of CD burners on our computers, the use of digital sound along with blanket barrages of discussion boards - these 'dens of iniquity' - and the use of emails to the Holy Office.

The dissidents need a Moral Spellcheck!

We have come a long way since the humble cassette recorder was introduced.

Despite the criticisms leveled at us, we are following in the Apostolic Tradition of Inquisition and Holy Recording, and I can disclose that many a cardinal and archbishop have come to depend upon our efforts.
